Dr. Justin Davis
Dr. Davis is one of San Francisco’s finest housecall specialist physicians and has been providing primary- and urgent-care housecalls to the Bay Area since 2005. Dr. Justin Davis, nicknamed Dr. Juddy, always knew he wanted to be a doctor. His passion for healing evolved from growing up among nature and animals in rural Florida. There he learned from a young age that keeping living things healthy requires extensive preventative care and a holistic approach to body, soul, and environment. While classically trained in all the clinical and technological advances of modern medicine, Dr. Davis also has a deep appreciation of cultural anthropology, the natural sciences, and philosophy—all of which he integrates with his medical practice.
Dr. Davis received his MD from the University of Florida and completed his Family Practice residency in Allentown, Pennsylvania at Lehigh Valley Family Practice. He has also lived, studied, and traveled abroad extensively. He studied yoga and meditation in Bangalore, India, and traveled solo through India for six months volunteering his medical expertise across a stretch of 800km from Rajasthan to Gujarat. On this adventure, his only mode of transportation was a camel that he bought and trained himself. Dr. Davis also lived for one year in Beijing, China, where he studied and practiced the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture through the World Health Organization.
Some of his other medical work prior to becoming a housecall specialist includes: caring for the Ojibway residents of the Cass Lake Indian Reservation in Bemidji, MN; serving as a civilian doctor at the Camp Shelby Army Base Hospital, MS; and volunteering at the Annatto Bay Hospital in St. Mary’s, Jamaica, and the Clínica Humanitaria Pablo Jaramillo in Cuenca, Ecuador.
